I have had this food processor for about 6 months, it works very well and is easy to clean. I also like the fact it comes with a slicer/grater attachment. However I do wish it had a bigger opening for the chute in the lid.

Piece of Junk!

I bought one of these and it broke in the first month. Took it back and got another one, it also broke in a month. My problem was that it would not turn on after a few uses. I assumed I wasn't locking the lid on properly, but there's really only a few ways to do it. Today I tried to get the lid on and plastic pieces started flying off as the bowl essentialy disentegrated. To add insult to injury, the lid got stuck and when I tried to pull it off it popped off suddenly and gave me a fat lip. This thing is really a piece of junk. I'm taking mine back and buying a cheap one. I cannot believe how horrible this thing is. The positive reviews must be from B&D employees.

I couldn't live without this food processor! Ever since my son turned 9 months I have been using it non-stop! It's very easy to use and clean and it's cheap compared to all the other food processors out there!

Black & Decker makes excellent products!! I have owned many various B & D products over the years (food processors, irons, toaster ovens, coffee makers, etc, etc...) and have always had great service from them. Someone else on here said "everything had to be in place for it to work" - well, gee...that is a safety feature that Black & Decker built into the design of this product. If the lid is not securely fastened it won't work (for a reason)- this is to prevent utensils or fingers from getting damaged! You should read your manual, instead of giving the product a poor review simply because you are trying to operate it improperly. I plan to purchase this food processor this week (to finally replace my last one that was destroyed in last years hurricane season) - and anticipate that it will last me for many years of dependable and frequent use - just like my last one did.

I purchased this product in March - it stopped working in April. Now I have to start the processor BEFORE I add any food because it won't spin with anything in it, and that only last for a good 2 minutes...it's horrible. I gave it 1 star because 0 wasn't available.

Not only did this slice vegetables, but it also was able to shred a pot roast for my homemade vegetable soup!

This product does not work, it can not even chop an onion, most of the time you press the on button and the motor just spins. Do not waste your time or money on this product.
